Partnerships Manager / Senior Partnerships Manager: Expo 2020 Dubai
July 2021 – May 2022

Requirements:

Working in-house at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of the Partnerships Team, managing 29 domestic and international partners:

  • Managing Expo 2020 Dubai’s existing Partners, Retailers and Licensees: 

  • Fulfil and manage all contractual obligations to partners 

  • Work extensively with partner sales team to ensure partner contract compliance 

  • Develop and maintain partner relationships 

  • Support partners in the development and onsite operational delivery of activation plans 

  • Oversee servicing for partners including the coordination and fulfilment of all rights and benefits, onsite activation and assistance with partners’ needs across all activities and events 

  • Liaise with other business functions to ensure excellent delivery of partner services as well as rights and benefits 

  • Upsell of additional products and services 

  • Daily management of partner servicing portal – an online portal for partners for information, requests and approvals 

  • Support implementation of CRM tool for partner management 

  • Support the fulfilment of partner activation plans 

  • Ensure partners align with all Expo operational policies and procedures 

  • Support with contractual negotiations and alignment 

  • Support Expo 2020 Dubai’s commercial team in delivering and finalizing new sourced partners. 

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience (6+ years for Partnerships Manager, 8+ for Senior Partnerships Manager) managing and servicing sponsors at a management level.

  • Experience working on mega / major events, and/or experience working with UAE/GCC major government entities.

  • Strong understanding of high-value commercial partnerships and commercial strategy/structures.

  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.

  • Event operational experience.

  • Relevant higher education degree (BSc, BA or higher)

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, problem-solver, team-player

  • Ability to hit the ground running in high pressure situations. Comfortable making decisions at a senior level

  • Located in Dubai. Strong understanding of the local culture.

  • Fluent in English. Arabic is a bonus but not mandatory.

Digital Advertising Specialist

Requirements:

  • Setup & ongoing optimization of PPC/Digital Ad campaigns for e-commerce, events and brands

  • Management of ad budgets, A/B testing ad creatives (working with in-house designers & copywriters), keyword research, audiences, & optimizing for conversions/KPIs

  • Analysis of campaign data. Monthly reporting on recommendations and strategy using a variety of analytics tools

  • Implement strategies to increase organic traffic (SEO, Direct, Referral).

  • Manage multiple accounts

  • Collaborate with the wider team to align digital ad campaigns with wider marketing campaigns

  • Create & implement best practice guidelines, staying on top of current digital trends

  • Knowledge of digital content management tools (Google Analytics, MailChimp, Fb Creator, Hootsuite, Zoho One)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Digital Advertising experience

  • Degree/Certifications in Digital Marketing or equivalent

  • Expertise in paid marketing channels & technologies

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, problem-solver, team-player

  • Fluent in English. Arabic is a bonus

  • Located in Dubai
