Currently, we're seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team. The role involves developing and implementing social media strategies across a range of sports and lifestyle events/brands, as well as the F31 corporate channels. We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, creative – someone who thinks differently, and makes things happen!


Key Accountabilities

  • Developing and Executing Social Media Strategies: Create and implement innovative social media strategies tailored to client objectives, driving engagement and brand visibility.
  • Performance Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights to achieve client goals and optimize strategies.
  • Leadership and Agency Development: Contribute to the development of the wider team and agency including supporting the development of new business opportunities, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
    • Develop briefing documents, processes and ways of working with Brand and Client Divisions, including developing clear SMART KPIs for each client.
    • Work closely with each Brand/ Event Manager to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each client's brand, objectives, and target audience.
    • Work with Management to develop the strategy for F31’s corporate social media channels.
    • Research and recommend platforms and technology to increase efficiency and creativity of social media department including SoMe management platforms, AI tools etc.
    • Work with internal and external paid advertising teams to activate paid social media campaigns where relevant, and in-line with client budgets.
    • Host weekly meetings with both Events and Brand Divisions to understand their client needs and goals, providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance their client’s social media presence.
  • Content Creation & Scheduling
    • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging content across all major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) for client and F31 platforms, including:
      • English Copywriting
      • Arabic Copywriting (managing Arabic team)
      • Imagery, graphics, videos and animations (working with wider Creative team)
    • Schedule and manage all content across all client and F31 platforms.
  • Community Management
    • Manage communities (including comments, queries, DMs) across client and F31 platforms in a timely way, including developing processes: FAQs, automated responses, community management, crisis management, client escalation.
  • Influencer Campaigns
    • Create and implement influencer marketing strategies that are in line with the overall client social media objectives and KPIs.
    • Identify appropriate influencers that align with client’s target audience and brand values.
    • Handle influencer content planning, and content output.
    • Provide regular client reports on influencer performance, including metrics such as engagement, reach, and ROI.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor and track the performance of social media channels and campaigns across all platforms.
    • Analyze key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, impressions, reach, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI to measure the success of social media strategies.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for both internal teams and clients, highlighting key insights, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize social media content, campaigns, and strategies to enhance performance and achieve client goals.
    • Conduct regular competitive and market analysis to understand industry benchmarks and ensure our strategies are leading-edge.
  • Trend Monitoring
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.
  • AI Integration & Efficiency
    • Proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow speed, accuracy, and creative output — ensuring consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all channels.
    • Experienced using generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Notion AI, Synthesia, Runway, Midjourney, or equivalent) to accelerate ideation, copy refinement, caption drafting, and campaign visualization.
    • Able to use AI as a strategic partner, not a shortcut — combining technology with human insight to craft ideas that are smarter, faster, and more aligned with brand storytelling.
    • Continuously explore new AI-based analytics and content tools to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and elevate the quality of client deliverables.
  • Team Leadership
    • Support and mentor other team members who can contribute to social media campaigns, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
    • Contribute to wider team development and knowledge, hosting a minimum of 1 team meeting per quarter to teach wider team about your department expertise.
  • New Business
    • Contribute to the agency’s business development by identifying potential new clients in the social media / creative division, working with the business development team on new business pitches and presenting (where relevant) to potential new clients as part of agency team.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in social media management, preferably within a sports, entertainment, or lifestyle marketing agency environment or a publication house.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent creative writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Familiarity with the Middle Eastern market and cultural nuances.
