PR Senior Account Executive (English)

Job Description

Develop and implement PR and Communications plans for F31’s sports / sports-entertainment event clients. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with management and clients to define campaign goals and KPIs.
  • Create and execute multi-faceted PR and communications plans including strategy, budget and tactics.
  • Coordinate public relations activities.
  • Draft media releases, with exceptional copywriting skills and strong knowledge of the sports and sports-entertainment industry.
  • Leverage media and influencer relationships and exceptional pitching skills to drive creative campaign concepts and secure traditional and digital coverage for clients.
  • Continually cultivate new contacts within the sport / sport-entertainment industry media and influencers to aid in future campaigns.
  • Identify and pitch story angles to media titles.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests. Coordinate interviews with stakeholders / athletes.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
  • Manage photo and video shoots.
  • Proofread PR and marketing communications with a critical eye for brand tone of voice, flow and effective targeting, per medium.
  • Day-to-day client management, including pitching campaign ideas, ongoing approvals, preparing client reports and key learnings.
  • Complete other account services tasks, as assigned by management.
  • Assist with client onboarding using established processes.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience in PR, communications or journalism (agency experience highly preferred).
  • A passion for sport and entertainment. Experience and connections within the sports and sports-entertainment industry are paramount.
  • Solid PR planning capabilities using a variety of strategies and tactics including media relations, social media, content marketing, email marketing and other digital and traditional communications.
  • Assertive pitching skills. Ability to pitch to local, national and regional media.
  • Process-driven. Ability to implement processes to help manage multiple clients/projects.
  • Detail, deadline and results driven. Collaborative with the ability and desire to work as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or related field.
  • Excellent copywriting capabilities, with knowledge of various styles and structures per content piece (i.e. press release, social media content, speaker talking points, award submission, etc.).
  • Proficient with Cision for media list development and research.
  • Experience with social media tactics, tools and networks, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
  • Experience handling crisis situations is a bonus.
  • Fluent in English.
